The story
Nine beats.
The ground moved
AI turned credential theft from a craft into a commodity. Voice, face and writing style can all be synthesised convincingly enough to pass a help desk. One in six attacks is now AI-driven. Nation-state actors are not stealing data; they are pre-positioning inside American infrastructure and waiting.
Every existing defense shares one flaw
Identity providers, MFA apps, endpoint agents, VPNs, SSO portals, password managers: different vendors, one architecture. All of them are software asking you to trust a secret. Secrets can be copied. Everything downstream inherits that.
The problem was solved once already
Global payments faced the same problem and solved it by moving trust out of software and into hardware. The chip in a bank card holds a key that never leaves it. That is why card-present fraud collapsed. Nobody had applied it to enterprise identity.
Trustera applies it
A Trustera card contains a hardware security module. On issue it generates a key pair inside the device. The private key is locked in a tamper-proof enclosure. Authentication is a signature the card produces, not a secret the system receives. Nothing to phish, intercept or steal.
Trust is enforced three times
Core holds identity, policy and cryptographic operations. Edge enforces at every device and network entry point, locally. Cloud watches the whole environment with Super Intelligence (SI) behavioural analytics. Compromising one does not open the others.
One credential covers everything
Workstation, applications, network, cloud, physical doors, IoT and OT, remote sessions. A new hire is live everywhere in under sixty seconds; a departure is revoked from all of it at once. The secure path becomes the fastest path.
Eight products become one
Active Directory, SSO, MFA, VPN, physical badge, password manager, provisioning tooling and endpoint DLP. Trustera absorbs all of them, removing licence cost, integration cost, and the seams between tools where breaches happen.
Nothing like it exists
No other platform combines a hardware-anchored identity root, tri-layer enforcement, native OT and SCADA support, deepfake-resistant authentication, air-gap capability and combined physical-plus-digital credentialing. Competitors need three to five products to approximate it.
The mandate arrived
The 2026 federal cyber strategy mandates Zero Trust. CMMC 2.0 Level 2 requires hardware-anchored MFA for 300,000+ contractors. NIST 800-207 names a hardware root of trust as the foundation. The requirement the government wrote down is the thing Trustera was built to be.
